How did your experience or appreciation of the potter's wheel change after you experienced it for a class period?
I think that it was hard to do it the first time because my pottery kept getting off centered. Keeping it centered and trying to form the pot at the same time. I got better the more I tryed. I liked the feeling of when the clay was centered.
What did you learn about from Doug Reynold's visit?
I learned that the thickness has to be about your pinky finger thick. If it gets thinner then you will have to build it down to make it thicker. I think it was easier to try and center the clay because he gave me a different look on centering. He inspired me to add detail on the outside of the pot.
